Rachel Novotny (Project Director), along with Karen Franck (CHL FS Evaluator) and Ashley Yamanaka (CHL Assistant Director) attended the 2024 SAS meeting held in Madison, Wisconsin on April 14-16th, and met with Mallory Koenings, NIFA SAS Program Contact. The meeting provided an opportunity for the CHL team to connect with other SAS grant recipients to share successes and challenges throughout the project, provide feedback, and receive updates from the USDA NIFA leaders. The team is eager to share the information we received and ideas generated with the rest of the team and continue to progress Children’s Healthy Living Food Systems!
