This year’s EFNEP National Coordinators’ Conference was held March 1–6 in Kansas City, Missouri. The theme of the conference was Nourishing Communities through Nutrition Education, Partnership, and Innovation.
CHL was well represented at the meeting. Poster presentations were given by Ashley Yamanaka and Rachel Novotny, with additional posters from the CHL network presented by Chloe Lozano (UH Cancer Center) and Ashley Sikayan (Northern Marianas College). Jean Butel (UH Mānoa) also gave a presentation during the conference.
Other CHL network attendees included Travis Fleming (American Samoa Community College) and Karen Franck (University of Tennessee).
There was strong representation of CHLers at the EFNEP meeting. EFNEP is a key partner for advancing nutrition efforts across the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific.
